President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev accepted the invitation of the President Almazbek Atambaev to visit Kyrgyzstan on September 5-6, Uzbekistan 24 reported.
The two leaders are expected to discuss key issues for advancing the bilateral ties, prospects for expanding and deepening cooperation in the political, trade-economic, transport-communication, cultural, humanitarian and other areas, enhancing the ties between the border regions of the two countries, as well as current international and regional problems.
Following the talks, it is planned to sign the Uzbek-Kyrgyz State Boundary Agreement and a number of other bilateral accords aimed at developing cooperation between Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan in various fields.
