Senior investigator of the Yunusabad district prosecutor's office accused of accepting a bribe has been declared wanted, the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office said.
Man, I. Kh filed a complaint to the prosecutor's office, reporting that investigator Sh. Sh. demanded a bribe for "solving" a criminal case opened against his company "V. Kh".
On October 7, an operation was conducted, at which the investigator was to be given the requested 40 thousand dollars (they were issued as evidence). However, after receiving the money, he fled.
A criminal case was launched against Sh. Sh. under Accepting a bribe on an especially large scale.
A preventive measure in the form of arrest was applied in absentia and a search was declared.
The Prosecutor General's Office added that it "was taking all necessary measures to combat corruption in the prosecutor's office and cleanse the system of dishonest employees."
