Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov held talks with First Vice President of Iran Mohammad Reza Aref during his visit to Yerevan, the spokesman to the Prime minister said.
Reportedly, the leaders of the two countries are working on the ways to further strengthen the multifaceted cooperation.
At the meeting, they focused on the next meeting of the Intergovernmental Joint Commission and the issues of thorough preparation for the business forum within its framework, implementation of industrial cooperation projects between the countries in various fields.
The delegation of the Uzbek government also attended the next meeting of the Council of Heads of Governments of the Eurasian Economic Forum during its visit to Yerevan.
While in his remarks the PM Aripov emphasized that the economic reforms implemented under the leadership of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev are bearing great results. At the end of the meeting, the parties signed the joint action plan of the Eurasian Economic Commission and the Government of Uzbekistan for 2024-2026.
