On May 29, 2024, a drunken man drove a GM Captiva crossover into the stadium and drove the car into people, endangering the lives of those around him. A criminal case was launched under Hooliganism charge, the driver was arrested and the car was placed in the penalty area.

The court announced the verdict against the person. This was announced in the "Bu Kun" news program.

The driver apologized in court and stated that he would not go to places where people gathered.

“I apologize to everyone, I repented. Now I won't go to a place where people gather, not even to a wedding, I promise. I ask you to give me one last chance," he said.

In the court, the plaintiffs stated that they had no complaint against him. However, the fact that the man ran away from the scene of the accident after pushing two people with the front part of his car was evaluated as an aggravating circumstance. The court sentenced the man to 4 years and 6 months in herd regimen prison.

Also, by the court's verdict, the GM Captiva car was found to be a criminal weapon and was confiscated for the benefit of the state.

Reportedly, the convict was previously accused of bullying and was sentenced to house arrest. However, this sentence was changed to imprisonment because the man violated the house arrest terms.
