Yurt Camp Sputnik Navoi was inaugurated opened in Kanimekh district of Navoi province on Thursday, the press service of the Committee for Tourism Development said.
The camp is located on 2 hectares in a desert area and has 30 yurts with a capacity of 150 places. It can serve up to 500 tourists at a time. Yurt Camp Sputnik Navoi has reportedly become the first safari tourism cluster in Uzbekistan.
“Visitors are provided with comfortable accommodation conditions, high-quality equipment and inventory to ensure safety and comfort,” the report says.
There are 7 yurt camps in the Navoi province, which rank first in Uzbekistan in terms of number and capacity, offering a total of 855 places, the committee noted.
Lake Aydarkul is located on the territory of Navoi, the water area and coastal zones of which are planned to be developed as a tourist cluster since 2021.
