In Bostanlyk district of Tashkent province, a local policeman killed his wife and 7-month-old child, and then killed himself, the spokesman to the Prosecutor General's Office, Khayot Shamsutdinov said.
According to the department, on August 6 at about 9:00 p.m. in a service apartment, an officer of the district police department shot his wife and 7-month-old son with his service weapon, a Makarov pistol. After that, he shot himself in the head with the same weapon. Reportedly, a conflict arose between the spouses (both born in 1996).
The district prosecutor's office launched a criminal case under the Premeditated murder, with provisional investigation underway.
