Chairman of the Tax Committee, Sherzod Kudbiev met with a boy who was hit by a salesman for asking a receipt with a QR code in Gulistan city of Syrdarya province.
Sherzod Kudbiev praised 12-year-old Shahboz for his exactingness and said that his action was worthy of “the entire central tax staff greeting him standing.”
Sherzod Kudbiev thanked the boy’s parents and emphasized that he did everything right when he asked for a receipt at the store.
“Demanding a check is not a minor thing. Thanks to the fact that you asked for a receipt, there is financing for kindergartens, schools, roads, salaries, and a budget revenues in Syrdarya. There are big things behind this. I am grateful to you, I express my gratitude to you... Shahboz, thank you very much,” said the head of the Tax Committee and shook the boy’s hand.
The press service of the Children's Ombudsman reported that an administrative case was drawn up against the salesman Z. A. under Petty hooliganism which entails a fine of 3 to 5 basic calculation units or administrative arrest for up to 15 days, which was sent to court.
