A farewell press conference was organized at Tashkent’s Museum of Olympic and Paralympic Fame capital before the Summer Olympic Games Paris-2024.
In the conference were present the Minister of Sports Adham Ikromov, the General Secretary of the National Olympic Committee, Oybek Kasimov, the deputy chairmen of the committee, Ravshan Ermatov, Saken Polatov, Aziz Komilov and Sherzod Toshmatov, as well as members of the media.
Opening the conference, Minister Adham Ikramov said that for the first time in Uzbekistan’s history of sports, 90 athletes won 75 berths in 19 sports, besides. Uzbekistan will debut in football, women's wrestling, diving and archery disciplines.
