The Defense Industry Agency unveiled new models of military equipment: the Arslon armored personnel carrier and the modernized Tarlon-M armored vehicle, which are currently undergoing military tests, according to a Uzbekistan 24 report.

The Arslon armored personnel carrier complies with NATO standards and is equipped with an automated combat module capable of hitting targets at any time of the day. It is armed with a 30 mm cannon and a 7.62 mm machine gun. The vehicle can carry eight platoons and three crew members, and is also adapted to the various climatic conditions of Uzbekistan.

The weight of the armored personnel carrier ranges from 32 to 35 tons, depending on the configuration; Arslon has mine protection level 4a/4b of 10 kilograms of TNT.

The 14-ton armored vehicle "Tarlon-M" is the fourth version of this model. Its body is made of composite materials with polymer armor and mounted on an all-wheel drive chassis, providing high maneuverability.

The vehicle is equipped with a closed digital and satellite communication system, as well as a combat module with a 14.5 mm cannon, developed by domestic engineers. This armored vehicle is designed for patrolling, performing special tasks in dangerous areas, protecting troops, landing forces and transport convoys.
