Uzbekistan climbed 12 places last month in terms of mobile internet speed globally. According to the Minister of Digital Technologies Sherzod Shermatov, Uzbekistan has improved 56 places compared to 2020 in this indicator.
"That is, prices kept stable with more mobile Internet providers, despite rising network demand day by day, operators are doing more to increase average speed than in most other countries in the rating. Of course, this is not enough, the providers need to do more to increase the speed and quality of the Internet," Sherzod Shermatov noted.
In January, Uzbekistan ranked 91st out of 144 countries in terms of mobile internet speed.
