The BYD Uzbekistan Factory has entered into agreements with Chinese partners to assemble more BYD models in Uzbekistan, the press service of the Uzavtosanoat reported.
On June 27, the plant began manufacturing Chazor and Song Plus cars. At a presentation on July 10, it was emphasized that Uzbekistan had agreed with BYD to launch Seagull and E2 models, the first samples of which are already being tested in laboratories.
For certification tests, the models were handed over to Quality and Safety Testing laboratory complex at the UzTest government body.
The models are being tested based on the requirements of the general technical regulations and include checking electromagnetic compatibility, braking system efficiency, internal and external noise levels, heating and cooling systems, controllability and stability, lighting systems and many other indicators, Uzavtosanoat noted. the company added that the tests and market research will take about three months.
