Driver of a Damas minivan (7-seater) without a driver’s license was transporting 14 passengers In the Jizzakh province, the press service of the Traffic safety police department said.
Traffic police officers drew up an administrative violation report against the driver, and the car was impounded.
This type of violation is quite common in Uzbekistan. Damas minivans are often used to transport kindergarten kids in provinces. Previously, several cases of transporting more than 20 children in such a vehicle were reported.
