The number of the retired in Uzbekistan surpassed 4 million, the Pension Fund said in a statement. Reportedly, as of June 1, 2024, the number of the retired has reached 4.8 million people. As of May 1, 2024, their number stood at 3.99 million.
In January-May of this year, new pensions were assigned to 124,184 citizens. Of these, 102,610 citizens were assigned old-age pensions, 14,388 citizens were assigned disability pensions, and 7,186 families were assigned survivor's pensions.

Fergana province - 473,337 people;
Samarkand province - 426,789 people;
Andijan province - 374,667 people;
Tashkent city - 367,483 people;
Tashkent province - 365,544 people;
Kashkadarya province - 357,362 people;
Namangan province - 313,241 people;
Surkhandarya province - 268,066 people;
Bukhara province - 253,604 people;
Khorezm province - 220,681 people;
Republic of Karakalpakstan - 215,679 people;
Jizzakh province - 135,250 people;
Navoi province - 134,829 people;
Syrdarya province - 102,065 people.
