Afghan Minister of Industry and Trade, Nooriddin Azizi landed in Uzbekistan. On July 3, at the Cabinet of Ministers The Afghan delegation including about 300 Afghan business leaders and delegates were hosted by Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov.
Reportededly, at the talks, the parties discussed the areas of mutually beneficial cooperation in economic, investment, energy, transport-logistics, mining, agriculture and other areas. Also, they outlined specific measures to increase the two-way trade volume, and pointed to the importance of further expansion of relations between the businesses of the two countries.
The visit of the Afghan delegation to will last until July 6, with meetings at a number of ministries and agencies, a business forum and an exhibition of Afghan products are planned as part of the visit.
The guests are also scheduled to visit a number of production enterprises in the cities of Tashkent and Samarkand.
