On the night of June 28, a major fire occurred in shops at the Chorsu market in Tashkent. The press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Uzbekistan said that the fire was reported at 1:12 a.m.
12 fire and rescue crews were sent to the scene, the first of them arriving at 1:17 a.m. At 2:22 a.m. the fire was localized and at 2:47 a.m. it was completely extinguished.
Reportedly, nobody was injured in the fire. Minister of Emergency Situations Abdulla Kuldashev and heads of other government bodies were present on the site.
