President Shavkat Mirziyoyev hosted the visiting Russian Minister of Internal Affairs Vladimir Kolokoltsev on Tuesday, the presidential press service said.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev expressed condolences and words of support to the families and friends of law enforcement officers who died as a result of the recent terrorist attack in Dagestan.
At the meeting, the parties discussed aspects of cooperation in the fight against terrorism, extremism, drug trafficking and organized crime, as well as in the field of cybersecurity and digital forensics.
They also focused on the ways to increase the efficiency of cooperation mechanisms in the field of migration.
In addition, they reviewed implementation progress of the agreements reached during the recent visit of the Russian President to Tashkent.
