On Saturday, Uzbekistan Airways performed a technical flight from Tashkent to Zaamin (Jizzakh province) on an Airbus A320neo aircraft, which became possible due to the reconstruction of the runway, the company’s press service said.
The press service of the Ministry of Transport reported that flights on long-haul aircraft would soon become regular.
Zaamin Airport was commissioned in the fall of 2023 and previously received light aircraft of the Let L-410 type.
