Telegram’s founder Pavel Durov announced on his channel that he had plans to visit Central Asia this summer. “As CEO of Telegram, I don’t take vacations. Instead, I continue to work by meeting our users in unusual places. This summer I decided to visit Central Asia to see what life is like there, to learn how people use Telegram and what their digital needs are,” he wrote.
Pavel Durov did not elaborate on which countries he plannned to visit and when, but he promised to share “his discoveries” with subscribers of the Telegram channel.
Pavel Durov lives in Dubai, has citizenship of Russia, France, the UAE, as well as the states of Saint Kitts and Nevis. He ranks 122nd in the Forbes ranking with a fortune of $15.5 billion.
