Uzbekistan and Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) announced a major 12-project program with total worth of $2.58 bln, the Ministry of Investment, Industry, and Trade said. These projects cover critical areas such as green energy, water supply, highway reconstruction, and infrastructure development.

On April 30, Investment Minister, Laziz Qudratov hosted AIIB’s Vice President Konstantin Limitovsky signaling a collaborative effort to bolster the country's infrastructure and economic development.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the progress and future prospects of several projects spanning over diverse sectors such as energy, education, healthcare, and water supply. Both parties evaluated the implementation status of ongoing projects and explored opportunities for joint initiatives outlined in the cooperation program from 2024 to 2026.
