Inauguration ceremony of the maiden Uzbekistan-Japan Trade House took place today in Nagoya, the Dunyo news agency said.
Hiroyuki Ito, Honorary Consul of Uzbekistan in Nagoya, noted in his remarks that in recent years, the interest of Japanese companies in importing food, textiles, crafts and ceramics from Uzbekistan is growing.
Reportedly, Uzbekistan-Japan Trade House set up in Nagoya will play an important role in promoting Uzbek products in Japan, assisting in signing export contracts, and developing new logistics routes.
Currently, this trading house promotes wholesale and retail sales of Uzbek food, handicrafts, ceramics, household goods, and textiles.
