Surkhandarya province governor, Ulug'bek Kasimov held talks with the president of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhonov at the Guest House in Termiz district.
The Tatar leader underscored that familiarization with the Surkhandarya’s history made a great impression on him. The parties considered the implementing mutually beneficial projects were and identified the perspectives for cooperation in oil refining, transport and logistics, education, agriculture, innovative technologies and livestock development.
They agreed to organize culture days and visits of delegations of the two regions in order to develop cooperation relations in the cultural sphere.
The leaders of the two regions signed a MoM on upgrading cooperation between Surkhandarya and Tatarstan to a new level.
