Number of foreign-invested enterprises in the country stands at 14,199 as of February 1, 2024. According to the Statistics Agency, 4,675 of them are joint ventures and 9,524 are foreign enterprises.
Russia was on top spot place in terms of the number of foreign-invested enterprises on 3,049.
Russia was followed by China and Turkey, with 2,432 and 1,901 enterprises with foreign capital participation, respectively.
The Top-3 were followed by:
- Kazakhstan – 1,084;
- South Korea - 736;
- USA – 314;
- Tajikistan - 289;
- Kyrgyzstan - 276;
- Azerbaijan - 235;
- Germany - 220;
- Turkmenistan - 182.
