President Shavkat Mirziyoyev congratulated the President of Turkiye Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on his 70th birthday. Shavkat Mirziyoyev warmly wished Recep Tayyip Erdoğan good health and success in responsible work for the prosperity of the fraternal Turkish people and country.
He especially underscored President Recep Erdoğan’s role and contribution to the Turkiye becoming a prosperous and modern country and its ever rising role on the global stage, to the achieving the current high level of Uzbek-Turkish comprehensive strategic partnership ties.
The parties commended the ongoing active contacts and exchanges at all levels and the growing dynamics in trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation.
In a year, the number of joint ventures and projects increased significantly - by 365, as did the investment portfolio with leading Turkish companies and organizations. The frequency of direct flights between the two countries and, accordingly, the mutual flow of tourists have increased.
The two leaders also exchanged views on current issues of regional cooperation, including within the framework of the Organization of Turkic States.
