Shaykhantakhur district criminal court of Tashkent city considered an administrative case against religious blogger Abror Abduazimov, aka Abror Mukhtor Aliy and Khusrav Nasrullaev and sentenced the two men to 15 days of arrest under Failure to comply with the lawful demand of a police officer charge and Resisting the performance of official duty by police officers charge of the Code of Administrative Liability.
According to the case materials, Abror Abduazimov on February 6 “caused a scandal in the building of the Shaykhantakhur district mayor’s office” in connection with which police officers arrived at the scene. The court decision notes that they failed to comply with the lawful demands of employees, attracted public attention, and also disseminated false and fictitious information about employees.
At the trial, Abror Mukhtor Aliy stated that he “visited the khokimiyat on his own business, raised a scandal out of anger, did not comply with the lawful demands of the police, expressed regret for what he had done, said that this would not happen again and asked the court for a lenient punishment.” Khusrav Nasrullaev gave the same testimony.
In February 2023, Abror Abduazimov was fined for disseminating false information, which led to humiliation and discrediting the personality of the blogger Nikita Makarenko.
Abror Mukhtor Aliy has over 700 thousand subscribers on YouTube, about 1 million on Instagram, and almost 100 thousand on Telegram.
