According to the Uzbek Foreign Ministry, as of August 1, 2017, there are 30 correspondents of foreign news agencies, online and press media officially accredited under the Foreign Ministry. Among them, 9 from China, 6 - from Russia, 4 - from Azerbaijan, 3 - from Turkey. Great Britain and Afghanistan are represented by 2 journalists, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan and Iran each has 1 reporter.
There are 5 accredited correspondent bureaux: Jingji Ribao, Xinhua (both China), TRT (Turkey), BBC World Monitoring Service (UK ) and Arezu Radio TV (Afghanistan).
