Conflict occurred on February 3 at a gas station in the Dangara district of the Fergana province, as a result of which a 22-year-old man died, the spokesman to the General Prosecutor's Office, Khayot Shamsutdinov said.
According to him, three men quarreled among themselves at a gas station. A young man tried to separate them, to whom they offered active resistance. After some time he lost consciousness. He died on the way to the hospital.
A criminal case has been opened against two men, preliminary under Hooliganism charge of the Criminal Code.
The district prosecutor's office is conducting an investigation. A forensic medical examination has been ordered to establish the cause of death of the young man. Social media channels reported that he had a cerebral hemorrhage.
It should be noted that in recent weeks there have been long queues at gas stations throughout Uzbekistan.
