South Koreas university will open its branch in Syrdarya, the Dunyo reported. It was reported that the visiting delegation led by the president of Sun Moon University of South Korea, Son Jae-moon held talks with the governor of Syrdarya province, Akmaljon Makhmudaliev.
During the talks, the visit of officials of the region to this university in December 2023 and the practical aspects of the initial agreements reached were discussed. Son Jae-moon also offered to open a university branch in Sirdarya.
Programs in five trending areas based on IT and artificial intelligence technologies will be launched At the branch. It is planned to turn the branch into an educational cluster, fully integrated with production.
Memorandum of Cooperation was also signed following of the talks.
As reported earlier a branch of South Kazakhstan University will be set up in Chirchik city.
