3-magnitude earthquake occurred at 23:13 on Monday in Tashkent and other provinces of Uzbekistan. Tashkenters living on higher floors felt vibrations for 30-40 seconds.
The Republican Center for Seismic Forecasting Monitoring of the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that the epicenter was in Aksu county in the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region of China near the border with Kyrgyzstan.
The 7-magnitude earthquake’s epicenter was at the depth of 15 km. The distance from the epicenter to Tashkent is 862 km to the southeast.
