Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov spoke to the Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan over the phone and discussed cooperation plans for 2024, the Dunyo news agency said.
“I was pleased to have a telephone conversation with my colleague H.E. Hakan Fidan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey,” the Minister Saidov said on his Telegram channel. “We discussed the expanding agenda of the Uzbek-Turkish comprehensive strategic partnership ties, summed up the successful outcomes of 2023, and reviewed our plans for 2024.”
Earlier on September 26-27, 2023, a regular meeting of the Uzbek-Turkish strategic planning group took place in Ankara co-chaired by the Foreign Ministers of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov and Turkiye Hakan Fidan. The parties summed up the achievements of bilateral cooperation and outlined short-term and long-term goals.
