Presidential signed Additional measures to further develop the pharmaceutical industry and accelerate the implementation of investment projects Decree.
The decree have approved the following:
• road map to expedite the development of the pharmaceutical industry and the implementation of investment projects for 2024-2025;
• aggregate parameters of investment projects implemented in the pharmaceutical industry;
• action plan to expedite the innovative research and production pharmaceutical cluster “Tashkent Pharma Park”.
A biotechnological cluster will be set up on the territory of the cluster, which will be allocated an additional 60 hectares of land.
According to the decree, also:
• annually before December 1, based on the needs of medical institutions, a requisition for pharmaceutical products for the coming year shall be formed and posted on the website;
• from March 1, 2024, during government procurement, a system will be introduced in which the government customer can include only one pharmaceutical product in a lot (drugs and medicines by international nonproprietary name);
• from January 1, 2025, procurement of pharmaceutical products will be gradually centralized.
By the end of 2024, warehouses of provincial medical organizations will be set up in accordance with the requirements of “good storage practice - (GSP)” and provided with special cargo vehicles for the delivery of thermolabile medicines.
