Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a decree scrapping 16 types of licenses and permits for business entities as of March 1, the Ministry of Justice said.
7 types of permits will be completely cancelled, the like of permit to transport goods when added in the register of customs carriers.
8 types of permits will be canceled by merging. In particular, a permit for export of objects of export control and a license for export and import of specific goods will be combined.
Three types of license and permit will be switched to simple notification. For example, it will now be possible to operate as a travel agent without a license.
While, remote assessment of license and permit applicants via video call shall also be allowed.
The requirement to deposit 15 thousand dollars into the Safe Tourism Fund for overseas tourism will be canceled.
Legal entities can now choose the place of inspection of their vehicles if they wish. Before this, they had to undergo technical inspection in places established by the police.
At a meeting with the president on Monday, the president underscored that in the country there are still cases of requests from businesses for additional information already available in information systems. Therefore, starting this year, 34 types of certificates and reports will be canceled. Thanks to this, more than 21 thousand businesses will be able to save 500 million soums annually.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev also pointed to the lack of a common list of reports submitted by businesses and ordered the introduction of a unified reporting system.
