President Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a decree appointing Asilbek Khudayarov as acting Minister of Health, replacing Amrillo Inoyatov who had held this role since December 2022.
This appointment took place at the government meeting chaired by the Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov.
Asilbek Khudayarov is also concurrently holding the position of first deputy chief of the Department of Social Development of the Presidential Administration, which he has held since the end October 2023.
Previously, he worked as head of the Main Medical Department under the Presidential Administration, and before that as director of the Republican Scientific Center for Emergency Medical Care and First Deputy Minister of Health.
