Over 11 months, UzAuto Motors increased the production of GM Cobalt from 90.2 thousand to 104.57 thousand (+15.9%), Damas - from 65.5 thousand to 79.8 thousand (+21.9%), Tracker - from 4,916 to 40.74 thousand (8.3 times), while the production of Onix topped 29.2 thousand.
Production of Gentra (Lacetti) decreased from 80.5 thousand to 74.2 thousand units.
The ADM Jizzakh plant increased the production of hybrid and Chery electric cars by 25.3 times - up to 9,777 units.
Bus production in Uzbekistan fell from 1,125 to 776 units (-31%). This happened simultaneously with the import of a large batch of Chinese buses and electric buses, which are delivered to Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara, Khorezm and other regions of the country.
Domestic enterprises also produced fewer trucks - 3,015 versus 3,686 units in the 11 months of last year.
Tire production decreased by 17.5% to 712.1 thousand units. The production of automobile engines increased to 237.5 thousand (+13.8%), batteries - to 1.03 million (+28.9%).
Imports of cars since the beginning of the year amounted to 1.56 billion US dollars (an increase of 2.2 times), parts and spare parts for cars - 1.34 billion dollars (+16.8%).
