Resident of the Keles city which is in Tashkent province contacted the Children's Ombudsman about sexual abuse of her daughter, 4, in kindergarten.
According to the Children's Ombudsman, the study of this appeal together with the Prosecutor General's Office, on December 15, 2023 led to opening of a criminal case under Perverse acts against a person under sixteen years of age charge on the fact of sexual violence against a child during her stay in a private kindergarten in Keles city with an investigation now underway by the Tashkent province police department.
While, the probe also found that the head of the private kindergarten launched the kindergarten without a license on December 1, 2023 in his house on Keles Yuli Street, Tashkent district.
The inspection of the apartment by the department of sanitary-epidemiological peace and public health of the Tashkent province, found that sanitary rules were seriously violated, and 2 kindergarten employees did not undergo a medical examination.
The fact that a private kindergarten operates without an appropriate license will also be given a legal assessment.
“The investigation of this criminal case is under the control of the provinieal prosecutor’s office and the Prosecutor General’s Office. The interests of the child are under the supervision of the children’s ombudsman,” the children’s ombudsman said.
