The Deputy Prosecutor General appealed to the Yashnabad district criminal court with a request to choose such a preventive measure against Voitov, who is suspected under the Theft by embezzlement or embezzlement on an especially large scale charge / punishable by a fine from 300 to 600 basic settlement values (BSV), 8 to 24 thousand USD or correctional labor for up to 3 years or imprisonment from 5 to 10 years) and the Abuse of power or official authority causing especially large damage charge / punishable by a fine of 300 to 600 BSV or house arrest from 2 to 5 years or imprisonment for up to 5 years with deprivation of a certain right) of the Criminal Code.
On December 14, the Yashnabad District Court granted the request and decided to take Voitov into custody in a pre-trial detention center.
