Head of the Department of Cooperation with European Countries and EU Institutions of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Oybek Shakhavdinov met with senior executives of Ericsson AB, Dunyo said.
Reportedly, the parties discussed prospects of implementation of the project of expanding the coverage of 5G mobile communication base stations in all provinces of Uzbekistan.
They also touched upon modernization of mobile base stations of local telecommunications companies and opening of a representative office of Ericsson AB in Uzbekistan.
At the end of the meeting, the sides agreed to continue the talks with interested ministries and agencies by visiting Uzbekistan.
