Uzbekistan Airways plans to launch regular flights to Canada, the press service of the Ministry of Transport said. At the international conference ICAN 2023 in Riyadh, the aviation authorities of the two countries signed a memorandum to begin the development of an air services agreement, including the third and fourth air freedom, which would facilitate flights.
The delegations of the countries also agreed on the mutual provision of the first and second degrees of “freedom of air” to airlines (air transit, refueling and maintenance).
“This will serve to boost the tourism potential of our country and connect another country on the American continent with Uzbekistan in order to attract foreign tourists to our country,” the Ministry of Transport added.
