November of 2023 became the warmest November in all the years of meteorological observations in Uzbekistan, Uzhydromet reported. An average November is characterized by sharp fluctuations in air temperature. Such fluctuations were observed this year as well. But unlike other years, these fluctuations occurred against a high temperature background.

For most of the month, the air temperature was significantly higher the long-term average values and only during periods of cold weather did it drop to the climatic norm.

The average November temperature everywhere exceeded the climate average by 3-6 degrees Celsius.

The maximum air temperature on the warmest days of November reached +23…+28 degrees. The minimum temperature dropped to negative values only in the north of the country.

Record high maximum air temperatures were not observed anywhere in Uzbekistan last November. The absolute maximum temperatures in November are +29...+32 degrees, in the south - +33...+35.

Compared to normal, November was the warmest month in the autumn season of 2023 (3-6 degrees warmer than normal). In October, the average temperature of the month exceeded the norm by 1.5−2.5 degrees, and September was close to the long-term average values.

On average, the autumn of 2023 was the warmest in all the years of meteorological observations in Uzbekistan.
