From December 1, the Yandex Go will become a tax resident of Uzbekistan, the press service of the Tax Committee said. “Starting from this date, the Yandex Go ride hailing service will keep records in accordance with the requirements of the legislation of Uzbekistan, issue primary documents, submit tax reports and pay the due taxes. Ridetech International B.V. notified the Tax Committee in an official letter,” the committee said.
While, work has been completed on integrating the Yandex Go service with the fiscal data operator. The fiscal receipts issuance for self-employed people and legal entities for each trip using this service is now being resolved.
As the Yandex Go press service said, passengers can receive a receipt in the Yandex Go app when a trip is paid with bank cards, and also follow a link to the fiscal data operator’s website.
“We have long been working on localizing the service and fiscalizing the transportation of passengers in Uzbekistan. This is an important step not only for us, but also for the industry as a whole. We hope that other players will also follow our example - we are ready to exchange experience on issues of fiscalization. We also continue our dialogue with government agencies and hope to work together to continue making the industry more transparent,” commented Kirill Svintsov, head of Yandex Go in the CIS.
The Tax Committee also reported that work on integration with the fiscal data operator has been completed for the MyTaxi and Uklon services, and the fiscalization of payments for trips in these services is expected in the near future.
