Almond tree bloomed in Aktash village in the mountainous Bostonliq district of Tashkent province. According to climatologist Erkin Abdulahadov, it does not look like a mass bloom for the area.
"Throughout the month, high heat waves continue to impart heat stress to tree trunks.
Even the hibernating almond tree in the mountains has seen reactivation and flowering.
I think this may be an effect of the microclimate or heat transfer systems around the tree root (perhaps there are problems in tree physiology), he added.
It is said that this is a very unusual phenomenon for the mountain landscape.
