The delegation led by the governor of Bukhara province, Botir Zaripov, paid a visit to the Indian state of Karnataka. According to Dunyo news agency, a business forum took place in Bangalore city with the participation of businesses of the two countries.

A number of agreements were reached at the talks.

The Uzbek delegation and the Indian MAM Minerals explored the project for the production of high-value, import-substituting products (electric car batteries) in Peshku district. They reached an agreement on sending a working group to conduct research in the graphite mine in the Bukhara province in the near future.

A memorandum of understanding was signed with the Online Instruments company on the production of modern information displays in Bukhara province. They agreed to provide schools and various offices in the region with the same type of modern equipment produced by the company

With the division of IBM, which is one of the largest software manufacturers and suppliers in the world, in the state of Karnataka, they agreed to train young people based on the IBM certificate in the Acharya-IT cluster, which is being established in the Karakol district, and to launch an office and a laboratory of the IBM company on the basis of the cluster.

As part of the delegation's visit, a total of 15 memorandums of understanding were signed with Indian businesses, aimed at projects in various fields in Bukhara province.
