On November 17 at 20:15, a Mi-8 helicopter of the Uzbek Air Force crashed during a training flight at the Kattakurgan training ground in Samarkand province killing all the crew, the Ministry of Defense said in a statement.
Special commission is working at the scene of the incident to find the causes of the accident.
The Kattakurgan training ground is the largest military training ground in Uzbekistan, which opened in November 2019.
