Number of streets in Tashkent will be blocked due to the international Yangi Nafas race contest, dedicated to the Day of the National Flag of Uzbekistan, the Tashkent mayor’s office said.
The race itself will take place on November 19, but the section of Afrosiab Street - from the intersection with Islam Karimov Street to the intersection with Beshagach Street - will be closed from 00:00 on November 17 to 12:00 on November 19.
Oybek, Nukus and Abdulla Kadiri streets - from the intersection of Afrosiab and Islam Karimov streets - will be closed on November 19 from 06:30 to 09:30.
The mayor’s office recommends that drivers use diversion roads.
