MPs of the Legislative Chamber were not satisfied with the response of Deputy prime minister Achilbay Ramatov to a parliamentary inquiry about the progress of installing high-end technologies in terms of road safety.
The inquiry was sent on September 19, the response was received on October 26. It includes information about the work being done in this area and certain objectives for the future. However, the letter does not provide replies to the punch items raised in the inquiry, and, as a result, a detailed and complete answer to the indicated shortcomings and current problems in the field was not received, the lower house of parliament said in a statement.
On November 13, the answer was discussed at meetings of parties, where MPs also reviewed that “the information presented was not sufficiently explained.”
At a meeting on Tuesday, the Legislative Chamber decided to re-send the parliamentary inquiry to Deputy PM so that he would give “a complete and reasoned answer to each of the items before December 1, 2023.”
