Tree fell on a Nexia-3 car in Yangikhayot district of Tashkent on November 12, the Milliy TV channel reported. Paramedics who arrived at the scene diagnosed the passenger in the back seat of the car with an open head injury.
She was hospitalized, but despite resuscitation, she died.
“The check of the fallen tree found no signs of drying; the tree was absolutely healthy,” said an employee of the Yangikhayot district mayor’s office.
A representative of the lanscaping department also stated that the trees in the area where the tragedy occurred were under constant monitoring and there were no signs of drying out or rotting.
