From November 8 to 10, traffic will be limited on a number of central streets of Tashkent in connection with the 16th summit of the Economic Cooperation Organization, the capital's mayor’s office reported.

List of streets:

  1. Babur street - from the international airport to the intersection with Shota Rustaveli street;
  2. Nukus street - from the intersection with Babur street to the intersection with Movarounnahr street;
  3. Oybek, Afrosiyob and Olmazor streets - from the intersection of Oybek and Turkiston streets;
  4. Islam Karimov street - from the intersection with Bunyodkor street to the intersection with Amir Temur Avenue;
  5. Sharaf Rashidov street - from the intersection with Afrosiyob street to the intersection with the Small ring road;
  6. Navoi street - from the intersection with Mustaqillik Avenue to the intersection with Labzak street;
  7. Beshyogoch street - from the intersection with Furqat street to the intersection with Islam Karimov street;
  8. Olmazor street - from the intersection with Islam Karimov street to the intersection with Navoi street.

Ambulance and emergency services vehicles will, in exceptional cases, be allowed to travel on restricted streets.

Drivers are requested to use detours.

The Tashkent city police department also announced a partial restriction on the entry of freight transport into the capital on the days of the summit - November 8 and 9.

Freight traffic will be completely prohibited in the city downtown.

The movement of cars from the Fergana Valley in the direction of the southern provinces and back will be along the 4P12 highway.
