Chief of Navoi Free Economic Zone (FEZ) Habib Abdullaev and, CEO of FlySeeAgro of Russia Vasiliy Ptitsin, and signed a memorandum on the implementation of a 5-year investment program on "Establishing the production unit of unmanned aviation systems in Uzbekistan, FlySeeAgro said.

Reportedly, that the total cost of the program over the five-year period is 80 million dollars. Within the memorandum, the parties reached an agreement on drafting a road map of the project, the creation of a master plan for attracting investments, and formation of a working commission for assistance in production matters.

FlySeeAgro is engaged in the production of drones for agriculture, biological protection of plants using entomophages (predatory insects), and shows itself as a leading company in Russia in the field of integration of drones into various spheres of human activity. He claims that he has 5 years of experience in agribusiness development.

The program also envisages the creation of a management system for training qualified personnel in Uzbekistan, factories and industrial enterprises of Uzbekistan involved in the project. Reportedly, Russian experts will be hired to participate in the program.

The creation, production and delivery of drones for Uzbekistan’s agricultural needs and their export to foreign markets, including Russia, are the priorities of the program.
