New appointments have been made in the Presidential Administration, UzA reported. Asilbek Khudayarov was named the first deputy chief of the Department of Social Development within the Administration, replacing Alisher Sadullayev.
Before the appointment, he served as head of the Main Medical Department under the Presidential Administration, and prior to that as he worked as the director of the Republican Scientific Center for Emergency Medical Care and First Deputy Minister of Health.
Gayane Umerova has been appointed as the Deputy Head of the Department of Social Development of the Presidential Administration.
From 2008 to 2017, she worked as a lead specialist at the Exhibitions and funds department of the Fine Arts Gallery of Uzbekistan, from 2017 to 2020 - head of the Financial management department of the Art and Culture Development Fund of the Ministry of Culture, deputy executive director of the Culture and Art Development Fund of Uzbekistan.
In July of this year, Gayane Umerova was appointed chairman of the Foundation for Development of Culture and Arts.
Jobir Azimov has been appointed to the position of Deputy Advisor to the President of Uzbekistan in charge of coordinating the activities of law enforcement and control agencies.
Previously, he worked as the head of the department of the Prosecutor General's Office.
