Newly appointed Uzbek Ambassador to Italy, Abat Faizullaev landed in Rome, Dunyo reported. In this position, he replaced Otabek Akbarov, who headed the diplomatic mission in Italy in 2018-2023.

Abat Faizullaev, 40, graduated from the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, as well as the Tashkent State University of Economy.

In 2020-2023, he headed the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Austria and part-time in Hungary. At the same time, he was the permanent representative of Uzbekistan to the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe and UN organizations in Vienna.

Abat Faizullaev also worked in various positions in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Embassy of Uzbekistan in the United States and as an assistant to the Foreign Minister /Chief of Secretariat.
