Samarkand city criminal court sentenced a 36-year-old man who stabbed to death two daughters and a son aged 13, 12 and 10 years to life imprisonment finding him guilty under the Deliberate murder of two or more persons who were in a helpless state, with particular cruelty charge, the spokesman to the Samarkand province court Sadriddin Nabiev reported.
As reported earlier, the man killed his children with a kitchen knife after a telephone conflict with his wife, who works in Israel. After the deed, he stabbed himself in the left side of his chest and lost consciousness.
The man was not under the influence of drugs at the time of the incident.
“My wife said that we would no longer live together, that she had her own world. She demanded that I leave the children in my parents’ house,” the man said in an interview to Davr program.
